This Privacy Policy explains how EmailClik ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with EmailClik Verify (the "Service"). We are committed to handling data responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws, including GDPR and CCPA.

Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from that provider.
Billing information: processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we retain only records of purchases (amount, credits, date).
Email addresses you submit for verification: the addresses in your single checks and bulk lists.
Usage data: API usage, job history, and basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use email addresses you submit

We use the email addresses you submit solely to perform verification and return results to you. To improve accuracy and reduce cost, we maintain a domain- and mailbox-level intelligence cache (for example, whether a domain is a catch-all, or a previously confirmed result) so repeat checks are faster. We do not sell your submitted lists, and we do not send email to the addresses you submit. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process the addresses you upload.

Third-party processors

Stripe — payment processing.
Verification providers — to perform live mailbox checks, an email address may be sent to a specialized verification provider that performs the SMTP-level check on our behalf. These providers process the address only to return a deliverability result.
Hosting — our servers are hosted with a reputable cloud provider.
Analytics and advertising — Google and Meta receive information about your visit to this site. See Cookies and analytics below for what is sent and how to opt out.

How we protect your data

Passwords are hashed, sessions are signed, connections are encrypted with HTTPS, and API access is controlled by secret keys you can revoke at any time. We restrict access to data to what is needed to operate the Service.

Data retention

We retain account and purchase records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us; some records may be retained where required by law.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@emailclikverify.com.

Cookies and analytics

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We also use two third-party services that set their own cookies and receive information about how you use this site:

Google Analytics — tells us which pages are visited and how people move through the site, so we know what to improve.
Meta Pixel— measures the results of our advertising and lets us show ads to people who have visited this site. Meta's automatic advanced matching may send a one-way hashed (irreversible) copy of an email address or phone number you enter here, so Meta can match the action to an account. It is never sent in readable form.

The only details we attach to these events are non-personal: which sign-up method was used, and a purchase's transaction ID, amount, and currency. The email addresses you upload for verification are never sent to Google or Meta — they are processed only as described above.

You can opt out at any time using your browser's cookie controls, the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or your Meta ad preferences. Our use of Meta's tools is governed by Meta's Business Tools Terms and Privacy Policy.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
