Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EmailClik Verify (the "Service"), operated by EmailClik ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

EmailClik Verify checks the deliverability of email addresses you submit and returns a result (good, risky, bad, or unknown), a confidence score, and related metadata. Verification is provided on a best-effort basis; while we strive for high accuracy, no email verification service can guarantee 100% accuracy, and results should be treated as guidance, not a warranty of deliverability.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Credits and payment

The Service operates on a pay-as-you-go credit model. One credit verifies one email address. Credits are purchased through our payment processor (Stripe) and do not expire. Prices may change, but changes will not affect credits you have already purchased.

4. Refund policy

Credit purchases are final and non-refundable once any credit has been used. Each verification consumes third-party processing capacity that we pay for at the moment it runs, and that cost cannot be recovered afterwards. Using even a single credit — whether through a single check, a bulk job, the API, or an EverClean sync — makes the purchase non-refundable in full. Partial refunds of a partly-used balance are not available.

If you have not used any credits since your purchase, you may request a refund of that purchase within 14 days by emailing support@emailclikverify.com. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, and the corresponding credits are removed from your balance.

Where the Service fails to return results you were charged for, unused credits reserved for that job are automatically returned to your balance. We may also, at our discretion, issue additional account credit. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

Chargebacks. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend your account and revoke unused credits while the dispute is resolved. Please contact us first — most issues are resolved faster directly.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Verify email addresses you do not have a lawful basis to process;
  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or engage in phishing or other abusive activity;
  • Violate any applicable anti-spam, privacy, or data-protection law (including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA);
  • Resell, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the Service without our written permission;
  • Attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.

You are solely responsible for how you use verification results and for your own email-sending practices.

6. API

We may apply rate limits and reasonable usage restrictions to the API to protect the Service. We may change or deprecate API endpoints with reasonable notice.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, or suspend an account that violates these Terms.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or damage to sender reputation.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. Unused credits are forfeited on termination for cause.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
